22 December 2017. Flights to Hong Kong

I was up early to go to Ubon Airport for my flight to Bangkok. After wondering at a clear 'lost in translation' example, I was through the airport security and on the plane.
All was on time which meant I had four hours to spend before my flight to Hong Kong. This actually passed quite quickly. Among other diversions were a group of Chinese tourists complete with red caps

and the sheer tranquility of the check in experience with Thai International
The plane was at the gate hours before take-off
and I was on my way, again on time We were stacked for a while before landing at Hong Kong, the flightpath giving great views of the Island as we came in across Stanley and Aberdeen before turning for the airport.
The trip from the airport was also straightforward and soon I was enjoying the energy - and hygiene -
of Hong Kong.before a relatively early night after my two early mornings.
